As a Destination Elopement Photographer, I believe that life itself is an adventure. Even the smallest details are special, and often end up being the most important.
I am deeply drawn to new experiences and I love connecting with new people. I always say the best part of being a photographer is getting to meet so many amazing and unique people that I may have never met, otherwise. So many of my clients have quickly become some of my best friends and I am very grateful!
I'VE BEEN DOING PHOTOGRAPHY FOR 16 YEARS
When I was 15 years old, I starting taking a photography class at my high school where we learned to shoot on film and develop our own photos in a dark room. This taught me the very basics of photography and how to use a camera without the convenience of modern technology. I completely fell in love with the art of creating beautiful images and continued my education for 3 more years.
I went on to study Cinematography and Film Production at the University of North Alabama for 4 years.
Then, graduated and worked at WHNT News 19 (our local news station) where I shot and edited commercials for television for 2.5 years.
I received an EMMY Nomination for my work at the news station and got to attend the EMMY's in Nashville! One of the coolest things I have ever gotten to be apart of!
I'M EXPECTING!
My husband, David and I are thrilled to be expecting our first baby in May of 2026! We have been dreaming of starting a family for many years and feel so lucky to welcome a BABY BOY into the world this Spring!
That being said, I will be taking Maternity Leave from May through July 2026. I will be back to work in August and taking limited local Huntsville, Alabama bookings for the remainder of the 2026 year!
